Let us introduce yet another distribution amplifier to our line of HDMI equipment – an amplifier with 1 input and 4 outputs. There are so many distribution amplifiers available on the market from various companies, that it is becoming hard to distinguish between one and another. I’d say that this distribution amplifier is superior to most of the others on the market at a similar price point.
There are some advantages of this distribution amplifier versus the others that I would like to point out. One of the biggest advantages is a HDMI detective, which is built into the every output of the amplifier. The HDMI Detective is required for most displays that are similar to the computer monitor. The reason why, is that those displays require communication with a source and in a HDMI splitting application, that communication would be unavailable. This is where the HDMI detective comes into play. It emulates the source communication signal which is required for those displays to work. Some other distribution amplifiers would not have HDMI detective built in and would require for you to purchase them separately.
Just like every other distribution amplifier, it supports resolutions up to 1080p. And with industrial components used in the manufacturing process, there is no issue with signal degradation. The maximum recommended length of the HDMI cables at the outputs of the amplifier is 15m (50ft)
In the end, we have a piece of equipment at the same price point, just with more capabilities.
