This person will be responsible for providing technical/help desk support to the Atlona Technologies customer base for all offered product lines. The employee will learn/gain technical knowledge of Atlona Technologies product lines, and provide support to our clients over phone and email.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, sales, dealers, systems integrators.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Provide telephone technical assistance.
- Assist customers in the utilization of repair service and warranty programs, map product support issues for all products.
- Supporting products including: video/audio processors, video/audio switchers, and video/audio distribution amplifiers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC proficient.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical training/experience
- Patients (its a virtue)
- Excellent communications
- Training or related experience in a technical support environment.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Internet resources.
- Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related software programs preferred.
- Microsoft or related training for Office 2000/XP/2003, Windows2000/XP, SQL Server 7.0/2000/2005
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, operate a personal computer, visually inspect forms, conduct oral communication via telephone and in person, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General math skills

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Follow up with leads generated from Outside sales team
- Entry of orders received via fax or email into sales system.
- Verify purchase orders for pricing accuracy.
- Verify and compare order requirements with inventory.
- Provide customers with order confirmations
- Track and expedite delivery by tracking schedules; verifying status and providing reminders.
- Answer Multi-Line Phone
- Assist clients by answering questions and responding to requests in a timely manner to assure on-time deliveries.
- Filing, emailing daily reports.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Ability to utilize Internet resources.
- Efficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work with sales systems
